A father and former Aberdyfi lifeboat station crew member took a bittersweet stroll down memory lane over the weekend as he revisited old colleagues.
Richard Smout and his family visited the station on Saturday to hand them a cheque.
The money was raised in memory of Richard’s late wife, Nicola, who died last year.
They both held fond memories of their time in Aberdyfi, and Rich, was keen to introduce their three children, and his parents to the area.
Rich said: “This has really helped the children and myself through this very difficult weekend, some everlasting memories were made and we promise to visit again soon thank you so much for everyone who came to make the day so special They have informed me the money is going towards vital new weather equipment for the station.”
