The Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorcycle Club has presented the Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice a cheque for £4,000 to conclude their fundraising efforts for 2018.

The latest donations brings their total over the last nine years to a staggering to £46,783.70, which has been distributed to various causes including the Wales Air Ambulance, Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, and Blood Bikes North West Wales.

The latest cheque presentation was held at the Nanhoron Arms Hotel in Nefyn on Monday night, 24 September, with many members of the club present.

A spokesperson for the motorcycle club said: “The Beicwyr Llyn Bikers are very grateful for their support this year.

“The total amount raised is finally in and is a wonderful £4,000.

“The final amount due to a last minute anonymous donation which rounded our contribution to the Ty Gobaith up to a nice, round number.

“We, the Beicwyr Llyn Bikers Motorcycle Club as well as our friends and families, have over the last nine years have worked hard to raise the awareness of bikers in each of our communities and what good bikers do in general in and for our communities.

“The club have voted to do another good cause fund-raiser during 2019.

“The good cause will be chosen by the club’s committee and will be announced during our October meet.”
