DWYFOR and Meirionnydd’s MP has hailed the “irrefutable value” of CPR and defibrillators in the local community.
Liz Saville Roberts attended a Welsh Hearts defibrillator training session in Dyffryn Ardudwy Village Hall recently, and was pleased to see so many people taking an active interest in helping other people.
The Plaid Cymru politician said: “The value of early CPR and having an accessible defibrillator in the community is irrefutable.
“We’re very lucky here in Wales to have such passionate advocates as Welsh Hearts, who do a great job supporting the provision of defibrillators throughout the country.
“There are people who are alive today because a defibrillator was nearby.
“I’m also encouraged to see so many taking up the opportunity of training how to use one along with the basics of CPR."See this week's north editions for the full story, in shops and online now
