A LAMPETER mum-of-four who faces being made homeless next week is looking forward to having a free Christmas dinner from a local charity.
Michelle Morgan, 24, says she and her three sons and daughter – aged from one to six - are due to be evicted on Boxing Day after falling behind with their rent.
But the family will be among those being treated to a traditional festive meal cooked by Home Start Ceredigion, the family support charity, at Lampeter’s Victoria Hall on Christmas Day.
“The children just want Santa to come, so that’s my main thing at the moment - to make sure they have a good Christmas Day because they’ve had a really, really tough year,” said Miss Morgan.
“I don’t know where me and my children are going to be on Boxing Day, but I’m trying to stay positive.
“They’ll get to see me being happy on Christmas Day.
“All I want is for my children to enjoy two hours out of the day where we can be a family and enjoy other people’s company and not be on our own.”
