Last month Barmouth historian Hugh Roberts asked Timewatch readers for help to identify the people in these pictures.
The pictures are part of his brilliant collection of photographs of the town and the avid collector of historical images issued a challenge to Timewatch readers to see if they could identify the people in these pictures.
The first picture is of Barmouth Cricket Team and it was taken in 1959-1960.
Hugh has the names of some of the players but would like to fill in the blanks.
He said: “On the back row from left to right is Bill Sawyers, Barry Stewart, Stan Robinson, Eddie Davies, don’t know, then Peter Pennie, don’t know, then Sidney Smith.
“On the front row is John Morris, Frank Dobney, Terry O ‘Marah and George Repath.”
If you know the missing names, please write to Timewatch at the usual address.
His second photograph is of Barmouth residents at the 1950 Caerffili National Eisteddfod.
Can you name the people in this picture?

Responding to Hugh’s appeal about the second photograph, former Barmouth cricket player Barry Steward said it was “great to see my ex-fellow members” in photograph.
“Afraid that I can’t help with any of the missing names,” he went on.
“I recognise the tall fellow next to Pete Pennie but no name is forthcoming. I could remember six of us but no extra names for you.
“I now live in Talsarnau but the only other one I know of is Stan Robinson.
“He lives away from the area but I heard only recently that he is coming to stay in Llanbedr shortly and I hope to catch up with him.
“Perhaps more names will be forthcoming then.”
Responding to Hugh’s appeal about the eisteddfod, Rhian Langford said she recognised a familiar face.
“I am sure I recognise my aunt, Jane Richards, of ‘Minafon’, Barmouth (now deceased),” she said.
“She is in the front with the patterned dress carrying her suitcase held in front of her.”
