Robin Hood

SHERWOOD Forest came to New Quay on 8 January when the Memorial Hall held its annual pantomime. This year it was a performance of Robin Hood by a cast of four men and two women from Gerry Graham Productions, enjoyed by around 100 audience members.The organisers thanked everyone who supported the event on the night as well as those who donated items as raffle prizes and made other contributions. The money will be contributed to the hall funds in order to run it for the benefit of the local community.

New Quay and District Society

THE MEETING with Christopher Salmon in November was both very interesting and informative. The speaker at 2pm on Monday, 18 January will be Gerwyn Jones who was urban street manager of Ceredigion County Council until recently. The meeting will be held at the Bowls Club.
