Camera club

THERE was a full house on Thursday for the meeting of the Camera Club, when neighbouring teams from Cardigan, Aberystwyth, Pennant and Carmarthen, joined New Quay, for a friendly five-way print bat-tle, presided over by guest judge Harry Gardiner, from Tenby. Harry appraised each of eight prints, from each club, then scored, them to a maximum of 20 points. Aberystwyth emerged the worthy victors, to take the New Quay trophy for 2016. Next meeting, on 17 March, members have been asked to bring along images, by their favourite photographers, for discussion.

THE New Quay Fund-raising Committee for Cancer Research UK would like to thank everyone who supported this event and helping to raise £672, with special thanks to the anonymous donor of £270 and to the football club for the use of their room.
