At the AGM on Tuesday, 29 Sep, the following officers were elected for 2015/16: President, Edward Fitzwilliams; vice-president, Ken Rathbone; chairman, Kenneth Jones (2); vice-chairman, Peter Woolley; secretary, vacant; treasurer, Viv Lote; membership secretary, vacant; poppy appeal organiser, Ieuan James; standard bearer, Paul Abrams; welfare officer, vacant; parade marshal, Carl Pugh (tbc); chaplains: Rev Canon Dewi Roberts, Rev Dr Wynford Thomas; independent examiner, D K M Jones.

Appointees are sought for the vacant posts of secretary, membership secretary, and welfare officer.

Volunteers from current or prospective members will be warmly welcomed.

Branch accounts for the year ending 30 June 15 were adopted.

A branch meeting followed the AGM at which the poppy appeal organiser advised that the 2014/15 appeal had raised £9,914 — a sum of the group could be justly proud of.

The 2015/16 appeal started on 24 October and will run to 7 November.

The annual dinner will be held on Friday, 22 January — details to follow.
