I would like to challenge the claim by Ellen ap Gwynn (Cambrian News, 26 November) that Ceredigion is experiencing the highest number of positive cases since the pandemic began. Seeing as testing didn’t really start here till June/July, we have no statistics available for the onset and don’t even know when Covid-19 first entered the county. The claim has no validity.
