I saw from your article that the Aberystwyth Beach Buddies are doing a commendable job clearing litter from Aber’s beaches (‘Council urged to be more proactive over beach litter’, last week’s Cambrian News).

I first knew of them from notices they had put up in Machynlleth about their 21 May clearing session. Trouble is I keep reading the notices because the Buddies haven’t removed them. It is not perhaps quite so commendable to litter other towns for the benefit of your own.
