The charity O Ddrws i Ddrws based in the Llyn Peninsula has received a cheque for £2,000 from ASDA Carrier Bag Awards. The funding will go towards maintaining the services it provides, including buses from and to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital, which runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon until the end of January and from January onwards they will start on Wednesday mornings as well. The charity is run with the help of mainly volunteers, with buses also taking people to work and shopping when they can’t drive.
