Madam,

This week I visited one of my favourite charity shops – the Red Cross shop in Aberaeron.

And, to my absolute delight, they had taken the time and trouble to mark out the steps into the shop with bold luminous tape. Well done to them for doing that.

For those of you who don’t have sight loss like I have, you won’t realise how important this small act is to help people like me and others.

Please all you with shops which have steps could you do the same and make life easier and safer for us all.
