I much appreciated points made by Cllr Endaf Edwards re campervans on the prom. It is unsurprising that campervan visitors want to wake up to the glorious prospect of Cardigan Bay on their doorstep. These vehicles are out of scale with the more modest charms of Aberystwyth.

To walk along the gentle wooden jetty beyond, one has to negotiate between a jutting rear overhanging the pavement, passing close by people dining at tables and chairs, dogs, and towels draped over the railings.

These giants have taken over the best room on south prom.
