WORK to complete Dolgellau’s new Flood Defence Scheme is finally set to conclude within the next few weeks.
Construction workers are set to return to the town’s Marian Bach Park in the next few days to finish off the flood defence scheme which was tested to capacity during spells of inclement weather over the last few months.
The work, which had to be postponed due the very wet weather over the winter and into the spring, is the final phase of completing the town’s flood defences.
The project has proved controversial with the Dolgellau Park Group who have not been impressed with the standard of work thus far.
