FEARFUL parents and children are said to be dicing with death on a dangerous stretch of road in Penrhyncoch.

They are demanding urgent measures are introduced to make the pinch-point near the Bwthyn between the football club and village hall safer.

Residents met this week with Cllr Dai Mason, council highways officer Gary Jones, Mid Wales Travel owner Mel Evans, and Penrhyncoch Football Club chairman Kevin Jenkins to discuss the issue.

Possible solutions suggested were a “Llandre-style” priority traffic system, permanent traffic lights, speed bumps and a mandatory 20mph speed limit.
