Well-known Aberystwyth performer Ioan Guile has received a special achievement award from NODA, the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

Jackie Titley, from NODA, surprised Ioan with the award at the end of a performance of the Wardens’ latest pantomime, Peter Pan.

Ioan appeared this year as Dame Nanny Myfanwy at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, and has performed a number of roles for the Wardens over the last three decades.

Ioan was nominated by the Wardens’ board for his remarkable contribution to the Aberystwyth-based society.
