BEFORE the main race got underway at the Cambrian News Aberystwyth Charity 10k on Sunday, junior runners took to the prom for a one-mile dash.

It was won by Morgan Joyce of Aberystwyth Athletics Club, with Sarn Helen’s Jack Caulkett in second and Aberystwyth’s Iestyn Lawson in third.
