WELSH speakers ran a relay through Montgomeryshire and Ceredigion last week carrying a baton to promote the Welsh language.

Participants in the Ras yr Iaith passed through a number of towns and villages all around Wales.

The baton was passed from hand to hand, as runners showed their support for the language.
