Plans for an extension to the Research and Innovation Facility at Aberystwyth University's Gogerddan Campus have been approved.

The extension will provide a new ambient storage area and goods dispatch facility, together with associated internal reconfiguration, additional cold storage provision, hygiene-controlled production areas and upgraded food-grade finishes.

Planning documents said the extension “would facilitate continued growth in research activity and innovation, supporting academic collaboration, scientific advancement and employment opportunities.”

The plans were given the green light by Ceredigion County Council planning officers under delegated powers.
