Plans to retain land in Nebo for the keeping of horses and to build stables have been approved by Ceredigion County Council planners.

A retrospective planning application was made to the council earlier this year for a change of use for the land at Ty Lan.

The plans include the erection of four stables to be used for recreational and personal use by the applicants, a planning report said.

Planners said that the “principle of stable blocks is considered acceptable at this location”, and would be “well screened from the road.”

The report said the scheme would not have an adverse impact on the rural area.

The plans were approved by council planning officers subject to conditions under delegated powers.
