STAFF and friends of Aberporth Bilingual Playgroup completed the Cardiff Half Marathon, raising funds for equipment for the playgroup and for Toby French, who has a rare genetic condition.

They raised in excess of £1,537 for the two causes.

Chrissy Canning, another staff member, also completed the half-marathon, raising money for Meningitis Now, a charity close to her heart.
