Police seized eight cars in one shift because of anti-social behaviour.

North Wales Police seized the cars in Porthmadog on Saturday. The force said the "very busy shift" was a "positive result".

A spokesman for NWP Gwynedd South said: "Did you know your vehicle can be seized for causing anti-social driving?

"Our Porthmadog Policing Team had a very busy shift.

"Six vehicles [were] issued with Section 59 notices for anti-social driving.

"Four vehicles seized for anti-social driving on Black Rocks sands.

"Four vehicles seized at Tesco Car Park, Porthmadog.

"Six vehicles were given 12 TOR’s (Traffic Offence Report) in total for driving without due care and attention along with not displaying their front number plates.

"I’d say that was definitely a successful evening for policing."
