POLICE are still appealing for information on the whereabouts of a Dolgellau teenager.

Moray Peacock-Howie, 15, went missing from north Wales on Monday, 12 October, where he was last seen on Bangor High Street.

The case has now been handed over to Thames Valley Police after several sightings of a boy matching his description were reported in Aylesbury, a town midway between Oxford and London. He is known to have friends and family in the area.

Moray is about 5ft 10ins, slim, with short, light-brown coloured hair.

When he went missing from Bangor, he was wearing a khaki-coloured green Parka-style coat with a white fur hood, a white T-shirt, dark blue Nike tracksuit bottoms and dark blue Nike trainers. He was also wearing a black beanie hat with a red ‘NIKE’ logo.

Investigating officer, Inspector Nicola Hemming, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We are concerned for Moray’s welfare, who has been missing from north Wales for more than a week.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Moray, or may know where he is to contact us.

“I’d also ask if Moray sees this appeal to contact us, or his family or friends to let them know he is safe.

“If you have any information please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101."
