North Wales Police have issued a warning to parents and guardians in Meirionnydd following reports of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in Barmouth.
Police have been told by residents that youths from several areas of Meirionnydd are responsible for the damage.
A police spokesperson said: “Do you know what your children are getting up to at night?
“We have been made aware by concerned residents of the Barmouth community that youths from Penrhyndeudraeth, Harlech, Barmouth, Dolgellau and Tywyn have been causing criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in the area of Park Road, Barmouth especially the park, astro turf, bowling green and also Wern Mynach.
“The local policing team will be actively patrolling the area during the evenings.
“In the meantime if residents would like to join our community alert scheme please see the information below.
