CEREDIGION residents embrace the idea of being in the European Union more than anyone else in the UK, a survey has revealed.

A new YouGov survey of over 80,000 people reveals the most and least Eurosceptic areas of Britain - with Ceredigion coming out as the most europhile area of the country.

In Ceredigion, 170 people were surveyed by YouGov on their attitudes towards Europe, with the county coming out top of the 188 local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales.
