A FAMILIAR line-up awaits voters in next month’s general election in Dwyfor Meirionnydd.

Of the five candidates standing, all but one have been involved in elections in the constituency over the past two years.

Only Mathew Norman (Welsh Labour) is a new option, replacing Mary Griffiths Clarke who stood two years ago.

Frank Wykes, who stood in last year's Assembly elections for UKIP, replaces Christopher Gillibrand as this year's candidate for the party.

The Green Party have not nominated a candidate and no independents have put their name forward.

The full list is as follows:

Stephen Churchman (Welsh Liberal Democrats)

Neil Fairlamb (Welsh Conservatives)

Mathew Norman (Welsh Labour)

Liz Saville Roberts (Plaid Cymru)

Frank Wykes (UKIP)

The election will take place on Thursday, 8 June.
