A women’s pension campaign group are in for a memorable evening when they will be joined by a quizmaster with a difference at their fundraising quiz night.

Members of Ceredigion Women Against State Pension Injustice will do their best to answer questions read out by MP Ben Lake on Saturday, 5 October, at the Prince of Wales in Aberaeron.

“We need to raise money to fight for justice for the 5,000 women in Ceredigion born in the 1950s who have had up to six years of their pensions taken away by government legislation,” said quiz organiser Alison Groves, from New Quay.

“We hope that lots of people will join our members and their friends and families for an entertaining evening.

“We are delighted that Ben will be asking the questions. He is a loyal supporter of our campaign and is always ready to help us.”

Music will be provided by the Lampeter Ukulele Club. Raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses.

Doors open at 7pm and the quiz will start at 8pm at a cost of £2.50 per person. Bar meals will be available from 7pm to 8pm.
