A fundraising page set up to help four Blaenau Ffestiniog sons whose mum has died after a nine year battle with cancer has raised almost £9,000.

Trisha Dukes Hood, 51, died in the early hours of Saturday, 14 March, and a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the four sons she leaves behind has proved popular, raising almost £9,000 so far.

The initial £8,000 target was increased to £9,000, and now the fund stands at £8,918, it has been increased again to £10,000.
