We were recently visiting family in Aberystwyth, in line with Welsh Covid-19 rules regarding joining together to form an extended household.

The prom was, rightly so as Aber’s iconic attraction, very busy during the sunny weather last weekend. As a result, social distancing was extremely challenging. May I suggest that a temporary line or marking could be drawn down the centre of the prom, to divide those walking from north to south and vice versa, with clearly marked arrows and signs explaining the system?

This would enable far more successful social distancing and reduce the risk from Covid-19.

While I appreciate this may be aesthetically less pleasing, other beauty spots in Wales have undertaken similar measures, for example there’s a one-way system around Roath Lake in Cardiff.
