Y Manod pub in Blaenau Ffestiniog has set up a fundraiser for Hope House Children’s Hospice.

The pub is putting together a Christmas hamper and asking people to donate food and drink and purchase tickets.

All proceeds will go to the hospice.

Sarah Lawton runs the pub with her husband Ben.

She said: “We were looking for a local charity. One of our regular customers came in and said that we should raise it for Hope House.

“Fundraising for a worthy local cause such as Hope House is one of the great ways we can give back and say thank you to Blaenau and its residents for making us feel so welcome.”

On the pub’s Facebook page is a list of what donations are needed. Items include cheese biscuits, cranberry sauce and dried pasta.

Tickets for the hamper can be purchased at the Y Manod pub in person, by phoning or by messaging the pub’s Facebook page.
