MACHYNLLETH residents are being asked to vote online to back a bid for £25,000 towards a new and “inclusive” playground for the town.

You can help the improved playground become a reality by visiting the Aviva Community Fund website and voting for the project.

The fund-raising group Future Play Machynlleth is bidding for the cash. They said: “Our goal is to create an area for children and families that is sociable, tidy, exciting and well-loved — a hub for the community."
