TWO Meirionnydd women have completed a marathon walk for charity.
Catherine Ellis, of Bryncrug, and Christine Hughes, of Tywyn, both took part in the 2016 MoonWalk in London in May.
They both completed the 26.2 miles and were awarded medals for the feat.
The pair are currently raising funds to help the battle against breast cancer and taking part in the 20th Moonwalk was part of their fund-raising efforts.
Catherine and Christine decided to talk part in the walk after being invited for a mammogram when they turned 50 years old.
This caused them to want to pay tribute to all who have suffered from breast cancer and have either got through the experience or succumbed.
They both covered the required distance of 26.2 miles in just less than eight hours.
