Madam,

Litter is something that affects everywhere in this country. Hefty fines have been introduced for dropping even the smallest piece of rubbish.

The other morning I went to take in my recycling boxes and in the middle of our road, highly visible, was a bright blue, flattened out, 15x10 inch cereal box which had been in my recycling box.

It’s the same every week, bits of litter left on the roads after the council have emptied the boxes. Please council workers, do what the rest of us are supposed to do. Pick up your litter!
