Editor,
If China can build a hospital in days, surely the government, Welsh Assembly, Ceredigion County Council should and could invest during this emergency of coronavirus as much is necessary to open Bodlondeb care home in Penparcau.
How many more counties in Wales have an empty building, which can be reopened?
We the public of Ceredigion have paid towards, still contributing ‘rates’, National Insurance for provision of ‘health services and social care’.
For 60 years until Bodlondeb was closed two years ago, it provided care for patients at Bronglais Hospital who are bed-blocking, and could move to Bodlondeb, releasing beds for medical needs.
