LLANIDLOES and Aberystwyth residents have been thanked for their generosity after equipment worth £17,000 was donated to the Children’s Hospital for Wales.
After a fund-raising drive in the two towns, two wheelchairs costing £2,500 were donated on behalf of Llanidloes Boys Group, a special ENT special microscope worth £12,000 was presented by Les Jones MBE, and a children’s lung function table costing £2,500 was donated by Aberystwyth and District Motor Club to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales.
Les thanked the generous people of mid Wales for their fantastic support, with the total funds raised in the area for The Noah’s Ark Appeal to date standing at £190,000
