AILEEN Jones of Morfa Nefyn has retired as a volunteer with the RNLI Ladies Guild at Porthdinllaen after over 38 years of service.

Aileen became an official member with the RNLI in 1978, but also helped and volunteered before then as well. She has been a constant volunteer, most prominent in the souvenir shop and also other fundraising events.

She was joined by a party of ladies who also volunteer with the RNLI, who all came together to celebrate Aileen’s time with them.
