A road closure put in place after a tree fell across it has been removed.
The A498 at Nant Gwynant closed on Monday when a large tree fell across it, taking down telephone cables and posts.
Gwynedd Council said they expected work to remove the tree and reopen the road would go on until today, Wednesday.
However, the work was completed yesterday and the road reopened late afternoon.
Storm Arwen caused chaos when it swept through the country at the weekend.
A Gwynedd Council spokesperson said: "A number of fallen trees and branches were cleared by our staff on Friday night and early on Saturday morning."
As well as dealing with the effects of Storm Arwen, council staff were also busy gritting and dealing with the cold weather over the weekend.”
