In each of his letters Mr J W Davies, Borth, states: “the church wardens have told me and other villagers that the closure of the Capel Seion crossing was not discussed by the Parochial Church Council.” As the two church wardens we can categorically confirm his statement is inaccurate. The alternate road was first discussed over three years ago and verbal updates were provided at subsequent meetings. We will let villagers draw their own conclusions on the merit of other points made by Mr Davies, but it is important we set the record straight about misleading the general public in respect of us as church wardens.
