Re: your article ‘Inspectors to monitor Mach super school’.

Your front-page article regarding the recent Estyn inspection of Ysgol Bro Hyddgen was a dismaying negative spin on a largely positive report.

The school received ‘good’ and ‘adequate’ bandings for the main inspection themes. This is a positive outcome for any school following an inspection: to receive an adequate banding is normal. Further monitoring following an inspection is also normal.

Indeed, Ysgol Bro Hyddgen has done considerably better than many other similar schools in recent inspections.
