A WOMAN who organised a number of events in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Wales Air Ambulance has handed over a cheque for £4,050.

Sheila Jones organised an abseiling event at Vivian Quarry, Llanberis, which 11 people took part in.

She also arranged an afternoon tea and a performance by Elvis tribute act Wynne Roberts at Ropeworks in Llanberis.

Sheila and her friends are pictured presenting a cheque to representatives of Wales Air Ambulance.
