Madam,

I am a person who thinks the planet is worth looking after for the generations of people who are going to inherit it from us. I do my bit to help. I have installed solar panels on my own house and hot water panels, and I do what I can to recycle.

It makes me sick to see some taxi drivers sitting in their cars at the rank in Aberystwyth with their engines running, and not just to keep the heater on in the winter, but the same in the summer to keep cool. And I see some of them throwing their rubbish out of the window.

Can’t something be done about this or shall we all give up and follow in their footsteps and give up on the planet.

I have asked taxi drivers why they can’t be like the rest of us and pick up their rubbish, but get abusive language shouted at me.

I think this is something that should be sorted out. With the Cambrian News’ help I want to bring this to everyone’s attention.
