POLICE have vowed to crack down on anti-social behaviour following a number of reports this Halloween.
Dyfed-Powys Police say they have received a number of calls of anti-social behaviour this evening – from a five-year-old having his pumpkins smashed and an elderly woman’s home being egged.
Officers say that a number of these offences have been caught on doorbell cameras and those responsible ‘can expect a visit from us sometime soon’
In a post on social media, Dyfed-Powys Police said: “It’s sad to hear of the messages and calls coming into our contact centre this evening.
“A five-year-old returning from a party to his pumpkins smashed all over his house; and, an elderly lady cleaning eggs from her window (in this weather!) are just a couple of them.
“It’s reassuring to hear the number of people who’ve managed to video these people on their doorbells.
“So, those who can’t be kind, can expect a visit from us sometime soon.”
