A CHARITY walk has been held in Bala to raise money for Kidney Wales.

Mari Davies from Parc, near Bala, organised a Charity Walk on Sunday afternoon, 23 April, raising money towards Kidney Wales, a charity very close to her heart.

Following illness, Mari received one of her mother, Connie Davies’ kidneys, and she is now so thankful that she has been organising a sponsored walk each year for this life saving organisation.

The walk was a distance of about four-and-a-half miles, starting from the Penllyn Leisure Centre and the sunny weather was ideal condition for a splendid walk.
