STUDENTS at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor have raised a substantial sum for Wales Air Ambulance.
Recently students from the Dolgellau campus have proudly presented a cheque to the helicopter charity for £657.50.
The academics arranged a variety of events to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance with student union president and A-Level student Steff Chambers particularly influential in organising several of the fund-raisers, not least a very successful Variety Christmas Show.
The students decided to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance as they believed it to be a worthy cause which is very relevant to the area.
