CHARITY runners from a Porthmadog supermarket have raised a significant amount for charity.

A team of women from Tesco Porthmadog raised £1,791.29 at a recent Race for Life event.

The money was garnered through sponsorship, raffles and selling ribbons.

The donations will go to Cancer Research UK.
