A SWAN which was found dead in Porthmadog died from an unfortunate accident, says the RSPCA.
Members of the public alerted Porthmadog’s harbourmaster and the RSPCA on the morning of Thursday, 1 September, after they discovered the swan along the cycle path on the Cob in the town.
Concerns were raised that the swan had been killed intentionally.
However, following enquiries the RSPCA says there is no evidence of human involvement.
