A TEENAGER has died of injuries suffered in a crash which destroyed the side of a 250-year-old cottage in Chancery.

The 18-year-old man, who was not local and has not yet been named, was one of three people injured - two seriously - following the crash in the early hours of Friday, 15 July.

At around 2am on 15 July, a blue Citroën C3 left the road and smashed into the side of the Grade II listed cottage Glenview at the roadside of the A487.

An 18-year-old passenger died from his injuries in hospital a week after the crash.

A 24-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, remains on bail pending further enquiries.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Police are continuing to investigate a road traffic collision which occurred in the early hours of Friday, 15 July, on the A487 at Chancery.

“Sadly an 18-year-old male passenger in the vehicle has passed away in hospital.

“Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

“A 24-year-old male arrested in connection with the incident remains on bail pending further police enquiries.”
