A CREW of community-conscious cleaners helped tidy up Porthmadog recently.

Local councillor Jason Humphreys joined employees from the town’s Tesco store to clear the clutter around the store.

“Once again, I’m extremely grateful to Porthmadog’s Tesco Community Team, this time for responding to my call for assistance in clearing rubbish around the path from the railway station and Pensyflog park,” Cllr Humphreys said.

“They did a brave and fantastic job with a little bit of help from me!”

“Along with 10 bags of litter we removed a bike, some trainers and discarded dog poo bags."
