Madam,

On visiting the new Tesco store in Aberystwyth for the first time, just a few days after its opening, we had a warm welcome on the tannoy system announcing ‘Welcome to Morrisons’.

All shoppers could see the funny side of this after all the promotional work by Tesco. Let us hope that management had a sense of humour.

My guess was that the lady announcer was previously employed at Morrisons and forgot she had ‘moved on’.
