Madam,

I would like to say how very grateful I am to the person or persons who have been working on Pen-yr-allt Common in Machynlleth, clearing paths and making them safe, and even cutting out new paths where the original was collapsing.

They have also been digging drainage channels, to make the paths less muddy, and cutting back brambles and broom where they encroached onto the paths.

I am in my 70s and the improvements have meant that I can continue to walk my dog on the common. So, once again, a huge thank you to whoever is responsible.
